Returns Made Easy — Because Your Pup Deserves the Perfect Look
We want you to love every purchase from Misty's Closet. If something isn’t quite right, we offer a 30-day return policy on select items. You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be in the same condition as when you received it
- Be unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging
- Include the receipt or proof of purchase

Please note: Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective or incorrect item). Once received, returns are inspected within 2–3 business days, and approved refunds are processed within 10 business days.

Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us right away if:
- Your item is defective or damaged, or
- You received the wrong item
We’ll review the issue promptly and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Soft goods: blankets, plush toys, and bedding
- Gift baskets (unless unopened)—because they include soft goods not eligible for resale
We also cannot accept returns on:
- Sale items
- Gift cards

Exchanges
Due to limited inventory, we do not offer direct exchanges at this time.
If you’d like a different item:
- Request a return
- Place a new order for the correct item (to ensure availability)
Approved returns may be refunded to your original payment method or issued as store credit—your choice.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval status.
If approved, refunds are issued within 10 business days to your original payment method.
Please note: Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please reach out to info@mistyscloset.com.
Custom Gift Basket Deposits
All $35 design deposits for custom gift baskets are non-refundable. The deposit reserves your personalized consultation time and is applied toward your final basket total.
If you choose not to proceed with your custom basket after the consultation, the deposit will not be returned. However, the deposit will be fully credited toward your final basket price if you complete your order.
Final basket payments (the balance after the deposit) follow our standard refund policy outlined above.
