Hi, I’m Dr. Misha Blackman—Founder and CEO of Misty’s Closet.

Inspired by long walks with my dog Misty, I created a pet lifestyle brand rooted in thoughtful design, storytelling, and connection. But Misty’s Closet was also created during a time when I was rebuilding, searching for new opportunities, and deciding to create something meaningful of my own.

What began as a deeply personal idea has grown into a boutique offering elevated accessories and thoughtful experiences for people who see their pets as family.

Drawing from a background in banking, economics, and education research, I approach Misty’s Closet with a deep curiosity about how people make decisions and build trust in digital spaces. That same curiosity shapes every detail of the shop—creating an online shopping experience that feels thoughtful, personal, and guided, helping pet owners discover well-crafted products with the same confidence and care they would feel in a boutique.

At Misty’s Closet, we curate high-quality accessories from small and diverse makers alongside our own signature collections—celebrating craftsmanship, representation, and individuality in an industry often dominated by generic or novelty-driven products.
